As part of the copper pipe upgrade project, Neet Design completed detailed architectural designs which allowed the NICU Department to decant part of existing ward into new refurbished 6 bed parent rooms, enabling the copper pipe project team to continue with the upgrade works.
The refurbished NICU rooms were intended to provide a private and calming environment for parents to rest, bond with their baby, and receive emotional support from other parents and healthcare professionals.
The primary goal was to create a supportive and comfortable environment, that provided privacy for parents during their stay in NICU.
