Neet Design was engaged to deliver the architectural detailed design through to Building Consent and Construction for Stage 2 of this project. The existing structure comprised a concrete blockwork and fibre cement sheet-clad ground floor, with a timber-framed flat roof over. The design strategy involved full demolition of the first floor and roof structure, retaining only the existing lift shaft. This allowed for a streamlined roof form and efficient replanning of internal spaces to suit a high-end, modern medical facility.

The redesigned 570m² building includes a ground floor fitout of 285m² featuring three consult rooms, a dedicated reception and waiting area (enabling potential for separate tenancy), larger staff facilities, and accessible entry. The new first floor build and fitout, also 285m², accommodates two operating/procedure rooms, lab space, staff base, recovery bays, office spaces, change rooms, and utility areas, all supported by a new fire egress. Materials, finishes, and planning were all executed to a premium standard, ensuring functionality, durability, and a contemporary aesthetic that results in a high-end modern healthcare facility.
